The Thrill of Victory

After losing or tying in all 7 games of the season so far, Thurman's team finally pulled out a victory in the final regular season game today, 1-0.

Let's just say there was a happy father jumping up and down in the stands that was described by some as "loud" and "a maniac". (Friends of mine, can you tell?)

I'm just glad that when the final whistle sounded, the kids (and parents) had an extra reason to be happy for once.

*******************

To celebrate the occasion, we let Thurman pick a place to go for dinner. He chose Chili's, mainly for the desert. As a "special treat" we let him have his own Molten Chocolate Cake, while the rest of us shared another. To his credit (or detriment) he did eat almost all of it.

Hooray for a win!

And Grace says, "There's Chili's- where we went with cousin Thurman" everytime we pass it.

Yay for the win! It's not if you win or lose, but how you...... whatever. It's still fun to win!
