Thurman got to play on offense this week, which made me very excited. I fear his ability to run fast was being wasted standing around on defense.
Anyway, the team played very well, but failed to score a goal. Thurman had one really good try at scoring though, but the ball went a bit wide. The good news was that the other team was unable to score either, meaning yet another tie for the Cougars.

Take it from the guy who used to be the fastest kid on the field... a fast defender who can get in the way of the other team's offense can make or break a game.
Then again, until you're in high school, it's a lot more fun to run around the whole game.
